Week 2.
-Alright, I thought today was Sunday, I guess I was wrong. lol. Anyways, the second week of my Summer was pretty good. To sum up what happened during the weekday, it was all basketball at the park. Played a few games somewhere near Red Hill and the rest I played at Foster Village. So far, I only got 2 wins out of the 9 games I played. It’s a bummer too because most of the games were close. But the highlight of the week of basketball was the one turnover I made against some girl. So she was guarding me, and I wanted to show-off, so I tried to be fancy with my so called “ball-handling” skills and a split-second after I bounced the ball, she stole it from me. It was an epic fail. I played with a bunch of dads and uncles too, so I’m pretty sure they’re going to tell their daughters/nieces that I suck at basketball. >.<. So much for first impressions. Lol.
And then the weekend came along. One highlight of my weekend was the hike at Koko Head. It was my first time hiking in my life (that I remember..), and it was worthwhile. I estimate my hike up to the top to be around 20 minutes, which is a little faster than my uncle and his friend (1 1/2 hours). And on the same day, I also went to my bro’s (ryeryeramen.tumblr.com) small party all the way at Waimanalo. Well, it was quite a journey for me because I also drove to Kapolei to pick my friend (rubychoosday.tumblr.com) up from her place and also my other bro, Keenan, that lives around town area. I didn’t expect Waimanalo to be THAT far but, overall, the whole night was worth it. Once I got home, I got text/tweet from Ruby, saying that I should check my cupholder. My reaction went from 0__0 to -___- to >.<. lol. (I’m never going to use it Ruby! I hope you know that!).
-My second week of Summer checked off a lot of things from my bucket list, and I hope this small momentum of events remain constant throughout my Summer.
